Mortal Shell II is a standalone action-RPG sequel to Mortal Shell, developed by Cold Symmetry and published by Playstack, released on August 20, 2026 for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The forgotten Shells of eight lost warriors are scattered across its ravaged world; players seek out and possess them, unleash their innate abilities, and piece together each warrior's story by unravelling their secrets. Combat is stamina-free, agile and grounded, built around shattering enemy posture with strategically upgradeable melee and ranged weapons, while a compact, tightly interconnected open world rewards those who wander from the golden path with new Shells, weaponry, upgrades and curiosities.
