GameVGame 2014–2015: the Halo polls archive
If you arrived here from a 2014 post on Halo.Bungie.Org or My Halo News, you were looking for a poll. The poll is gone; this page is what is left of it. The domain changed hands, and the site you are on now — a game comparison tool — has nothing to do with the one that ran those polls, except that we would rather keep a record than answer 404.

What GameVGame was
From early 2014 to mid 2015, gamevgame.com was a small site run by Andy Harrington that put one question at a time to readers — nearly always a “this or that” about games, which is where the name came from. The largest run was a Halo series timed to the launch of The Master Chief Collection: one poll per game for the best multiplayer map, one per game for the best campaign level, then a final for each.
Louis Wu at Halo.Bungie.Org shared each poll as it went up, which is why most of the links to this domain that still exist on the web come from HBO’s news archive. The site’s own thank-you note on the Blood Gulch result page credits him for it.
The Halo polls
Only a handful of result pages were ever captured by the Wayback Machine — the voting ran in a script, so most snapshots hold the question and not the count. Where a figure survives it is given with the capture date; where it does not, it is marked unknown rather than guessed. For two-option polls the figures are in the order the title names the options, as the site’s own sidebar listed them.
